Summer Holidays – 4th of July around the corner!

Scheduling around employees’ Holidays & vacations this summer can be challenging, working to cover all bases and commitments.  With GPS Vehicle Tracking on-line, you can check your available vehicles and working (or not moving) heavy duty asset equipment at home too for instant viewing, for those who want to get a head start before heading into the office.

Remember you can change your Map Overview from “Default” (showing vehicles/equipment that are not in a fleet) to “all fleets”, or choose 1 specific Fleet name to view.

Vehicles/Asset Equipment can be listed/grouped into smaller (sub) fleets (or removed, placed back in “Default”).   See news article “Three Ways to Define Your Subfleets ” (for more details). See if this makes better sense to you viewing your vehicles and equipment – by time/work “shifts”, by vehicle types/departments  “tasks”, or by districts/location “areas” for easy viewing (whatever works best for you).

For easy, accessible one touch/click or reference calling, list driver’s phone number or add phone number to vehicle’s name whenever driver is assigned to a vehicle.

Nothing more beautiful and nothing more distracting while driving than fireworks!  Like thunder you naturally look to the sky to see where the (rain) show begins. July will be nights and some evenings of joyful patriotic fireworks displays, depending on your town’s fireworks laws/codes, and parades around the country.

Just a few ideas…This July, we hope you, your families get to walk/jog/or run in a celebration for Independence Day, watch a 4th of July movie, or see a live concert celebrating the Birth of American independence.  Show your patriotic spirit, displaying U.S.A. flags, do a Fourth of July barbecue cook-off, eat at a Fourth of July picnic or attend a parade, baseball game, zoo or air show wearing red, white, & blue attire, or just shooting off fireworks with friends.  I love to pull my red wagon of wine & cheese and lawn chairs down to Union Station at K.C., MO to hear the K.C. Symphony when they perform.
