Where Is My Car?
“Where did I park my car?” Have you had that panic moment, “I lost it or maybe it’s stolen?”

Have a forgetful moment walking out of a new place (mall, event center, stadium)? How about dropped off at an airport shuttle terminal (long term parking) and wonder, where did I park my car? Although GPS doesn’t show inside buildings / garage levels, you can see with Google maps where and, if moving, when it moved.

I heard in the news about a couple food trucks stolen off their lot! Although GPS trackers can’t prevent theft, police with GPS location & description can quickly identify your vehicle, especially in motion! My favorite feature is the EZ-Alert (instant next movement alert). No surprises when you know the vehicle will move but don’t know exactly when. Once parked, you click EZ-Alert on the locator box (this pops up when you click the vehicle on your map). I can estimate, once the alert is received, approximately how much time before my vehicle arrives!
Second favorite feature follows with a geo-fence set around destinations. I know when the vehicle is a mile from my door. Other locations geo-fenced, I have a closer radius setting. While other locations are geo-fenced polygonal style rather than radius. It is nice to recognize the names I have labeled of the destinations reported on daily detailed activity and stops with addresses.
Cell phones can be turned off and lose their charge. GPS Vehicle Trackers do not have a turn off switch and are powered by the vehicle 24/7. With Google maps, street viewing is handy to see where on the block of the docking yard your truck was directed to for receiving at a new location to save this location spot for future deliveries.
*For after hours alert, you may want to separate into fleets your vehicles that work 9 to 5 as to those working 24-hour emergency service vans.
